Annual Author Event
Thanks to their generosity of time we have been fortunate to have leading authors who provide an hour or more long presentation of their lives and works.
Cheshire Performing and Fine Arts (CPFA) is the new sponsor of the annual author event and Friends of CPFA/Artsplace (Friends) will remain as financial managers of the event on their behalf. Funds raised will be used towards the CPFA scholarship program. CPFA and Friends greatly appreciate your continued support of this event.
Our Mission
Friends of CPFA/Artsplace, Inc. is a 501c3 charitable organization established in 2003 to promote the arts and support the efforts of CPFA/Artsplace (hereafter “Artsplace”) in Cheshire, CT.
The Friends’ organization represents a wide range of individuals who share in our mission to improve and enhance the lives of our population through the arts and our exemplary Art Heals (see in menu) program has been a sought after model by other towns.
Friends funding is built primarily by donations and fundraising and residing at CPFA Artsplace in Cheshire provides the administrative efficiencies for the organization’s business operations.
Friends continually sponsors events that will bring performing and fine arts events to fruition encompassing improv groups, puppetry performances, dance demonstrations and related workshops.
