Annual Author Event

Prior to 2021 our primary fundraiser each Fall was the Annual Author Event. Thanks to their generosity of time we have been fortunate to have leading authors who provide an hour or more long presentation of their lives and works.

Combined with a light supper it has become a sought-after event with limited participants. Tables accommodate 8 allowing the surrounding area book clubs who have been our largest supporters to share an evening together with our selected author in an approachable setting.

As of 2022 the CPFA (Cheshire Performing and Fine Arts) Artsplace commission took over as sponsors of this event to fund their annual scholarship given to a graduating Cheshire High School student furthering their education in the performing or fine arts.

Friends of CPFA/Artsplace, Inc. will act as their financial manager and tickets will be on sale on our website: www.artsplacefriends.org.
